The Field Trips:

August 7th: Morrisville, NY
Sept 11th: Jamesville, NY (adults only)

The August field trip is family friendly. All ages of children are welcome as long as accompanied by an adult. This site features Middle Devonian (about 380 million years) fossils from brachiopods to crinoids, gastropods, bivalves, and possibly even trilobites!

The September trip is adults only. This site features Middle Devonian fossils within the Onondaga Limestone. Besides the relatively common brachiopods, corals, crinoids, there are fossil fish teeth, bones, and burrow fills.

Refunds will only be given due to PRI cancellation of the trip. PRI will only cancel due to severe rainstorms and/or lightning (not light rain or snow), as paleontologists are a hardy lot!
