We should give people the choice between gas and electric, electric prices have gone up. Let's not push agendas that only benefit the rich.....

Most peoples only experience with electric is the landlord special cheapest option. we should work to make quality appliances and amenities available to everyone.

Even though some people might want gas appliances, I think sometimes we need policies to push us to do the right thing. An example is seat belt laws. People might have chafed at the idea of wearing seat belts if they weren't used to it, but seat belts have saved lives.

It's smart. Fossil fuels are likely to become more expensive because they're limited.

Electric is the most versatile it can use many energy sources

I think it's a great idea. It's not a big deal to get used to using an electric induction stove instead of a gas one. And people who like their current gas stove don’t have to panic; it only applies to new construction.
