New York State Climate Action Plan

Does climate action make economic sense?
I think so, but I wonder how we'll pay for the upfront costs.
-Ell
I think it makes sense because of the new jobs and the cost to us if we don’t take action. The latter can be hard to feel now because it’s in the future, but it’s important to remember.
-Alison
It certainly seems like it, if it’s going to cost us billions of dollars more if we don’t do anything about climate change.
-Rob
It makes sense economically, and also in terms of the health benefits from less polluted air if cars aren’t burning gasoline and we’re not using gas stoves. Air pollution from these sources is terrible for our lungs, and can harm children for life if they grow up with it.
