How do you think climate change comes into play?

If there are more weather disasters it may wake people up to the hazards of climate change

Climate change amplifies the effects of El Nino. For example, hotter temperatures can dry out the soil and lead to drought, and then even hotter temperatures during an El Nino event can make this worse.
