Group programs

Visiting groups may wish to also book a hands-on program or tour with one of PRI’s science educators. Please reserve a minimum of 2 weeks in advance. We will work to accommodate any group size, but hands-on presentations and tours are most effective with 25 or fewer participants. If you have questions or would like to book a program contact [email protected].

Popular programs include tours of the Museum and presentations on Central NY geology and paleontology, geologic history of New York State, State Park gorge walks, glaciers, dinosaurs, coral reefs, and climate change. We offer programs to groups of all ages and backgrounds; program content and length are adjusted accordingly. Prices for programs vary by length and, if offsite, travel distance.

Group admission

Group admission rates are available by reservation for groups of 10 or more. For group admission reservations contact [email protected].

To ensure the best visit, the Museum limits the group size to fewer than 100 per day.

One adult chaperone receives free admission for every 10 youth. The Museum requires a rate of at least 1 adult per 10 youth.
